Atlantic
Coast Cutting
Horse Association
(ACCHA)
The ACCHA was established in 1979 with the first event in 1980. The original purpose, was to put on one show each year, and to that end, we have had a show each year with much success.
Now the association is taking on a new life, one which will provide support and services, not only to the Augusta Futurity, but all of the cutters and their local associations, east of the Mississippi River to the Atlantic Ocean, from the Canadian border on the north, to the Gulf of Mexico on the south.
Some of the support and services will include a web site and publications to honor and recognize our horse owners, breeders, members, trainers and supporters. To organize and fund the ACCHA Hall Of FAME, to help establish new members, work with our Youth Organizations here on the East Coast and to provide year end awards and recognition to all of our winners, much in the same way that the PCCHA has done over the last 25 years, helping to grow the eastern membership of the NCHA.
The NCHA is a great association that we are all members of and has done a splendid job of growing cutting around the world, now it is our job to help in that effort in our part of our world.
The membership ( initially ) is Free and our job is to provide our membership with additional services, that have a great value.
